Peer Specialist-Peer Mentor/Group Facilitator (MAIN OFFICE), Austin, TX

This position addresses the needs of peers who have not yet acquired the resources, knowledge and skills needed to make healthier choices toward wellness and recovery as well as assist in linking peers to concrete services. Work also involves telling your recovery story, providing structured support groups around the Austin area, and providing end of the month reports. The Peer Mentor serve as a role model and maintain the utmost respect for those we serve. Works under general supervision with latitudes for the use of initiative and independent judgment. Certified Peer Specialist are asked to apply, however experienced peer specialist are accepted.

Hours: Monday 10:00am-4:30am & Wednesday 8:30am-4:00pm

Salary: $10 Per hour

Part Time: 15 hours weekly

Office Manager (MAIN OFFICE), Austin, TX

This position works under the Executive Director and is responsible for Opening/Closing the office, greeting guest, troubleshooting, and makes sure that the office runs smoothly, which includes keeping supplies in stock, working with vendors, planning/scheduling events, making sure the facilities are clean, orderly, and safe, and analyzing supply and energy consumption to determine cost-saving and efficiency savings. This position will also coordinate Volunteer Program.

Hours: Monday 11:00am-4:00pm / Tuesday 10:00am-3:00pm, Wednesday 10:00am-3:00pm / Thursday 11:00am-4:00pm

Salary: $10 Per hour

Part Time: 20 hours weekly

Receptionist (MAIN OFFICE), Austin, TX

This position works under the Executive Director and/or Office Manager and is responsible for making a good first impression with visitors, members, and clients of the organization. In addition to being a greeter, this position also answers phone calls, accept the mail and courier deliveries, minor data entry, do paperwork and perform administrative tasks. In addition the receptionist makes sure that the office runs smoothly, which includes keeping supplies in stock, working with vendors, and making sure the facilities are clean, orderly, and safe.

File Clerk (MAIN OFFICE), Austin, TX

This position works under the Executive Director and/or Office Manager and is responsible for keeping files and documents organized for AAMHC. This position works with both paper documents and electronic files, and do routine tasks like data entry, organization, cross-referencing, scanning, copying and retrieval. This position also helps to maintain the document database, and helps other employees and volunteers find documents and files they are looking for, or help make sure that documents they are given are stored and labeled correctly for later use.
